- Visiting the glo-worms at night below Puriri Hut (they don’t like being touched, also please turn torches off and keep voices down)
- See if you can pat our little ponies, and find where on the farm the Highland cattle are
- You can ride your own horse on the property and through to our neighbours, make sure you sign in and out at the boundary, and stick to marked trails.
- Eeling (you can try shining a light into the creek at night, or tempting them with sausage on a stick)
- Cooking on the campfire

- Exploring in the creek from the end of the Ihenga’s Trail to the Redwood Hut pool – wearing shoes would be a help
